give it to me holga

just to clarify... that isn't my finger sticking out in the top picture. i found the same thing on several photos i took on the holga and have since figured out it's still my fault, but more because i forgot to cover up the red counter box on the back. not because my finger is a camera whore.

i'm not entirely sure how i should go about fixing this.. does anyone have a solution that allows you to cover it up but still be able to see inside when advancing the film?

I create a little flap using electrical tape. Then I take a liitle peek trying to keep as much sunlight as possible away from where I am peeking into. It works most of the time, but to seal all light leaks would be going against the nature of the Holga!!!

oh i know.. and i never plan to cover up the sides of the camera, i'm just not-so-keen about those huge red boxes showing up in all of my color prints *grr*

i adore the top shot! its just gorgeous, i wouldnt worry about a little black smudge, gives it character!

i really like the one of the phonebook. i'm interesting in doing a bit of photography. i was wondering if you had a camera suggestions. something not too big, maybe even fit in a purse and also at a reasonable price. but still get good pictures out of it
