SWIM!!!! i hate it when they come out to play in the rainy season... there are times when they crawl all over the place... and they die on the roads... their sun dried bodies litering the whole place.... disgusting!

Thats so gross. What's worse is that it almost looks like icing on a chocolately cake..

I have just had a little fofolle idea : "the 36 strainers project" (see my blog). My goal is also, by the way, to make discover others blogs to my usual visitors.

Hmmm.. I definately hate werms! They eeks me.. But this photo is beautifully taken.. sharp and detailed.

Well, I certainly never would have thought to photograph a drowning worm.... props for breaking the mold! ;)

Very cool! And I'm wondering if it would have benefitted from a greater depth of field...

The puddle looks deeper than I guess it actually is and the worm seems to swim across it. Interesting.

I like the monochrome environment and the play of light. Did you try it as a vertical? The frame exteriors don’t add much, so I think it could have been stronger as a vert.

I didn't immediately realize what I was looking at. I love the textures in this photo.

I think it's kind of creepy because we know what it feels like in both senses ie to lay in mud and water and to pick up a wet muddy worm. I love it too because it really is the world - water light life S**T - luckily I gave up eating these things when I was about 2 years old and moved on to fish fingers. Beautiful

Its good to see someone looking at things differently, bringing the things most of us look past to our attention. Great pictures.

Great close up. I know a person who picks up the worms in our parking lot and puts them back in the grass.
